Truvista Contributes to Groundbreaking Technology Center at “The Village in Winnsboro, A Community of Fairfield Educators”

Truvista is proud to announce its partnership with the Fairfield County School District with its contribution of the construction of a state-of-the-art Technology Center at “The Village in Winnsboro, a Community of Fairfield Educators” dedicated to supporting Fairfield County educators.

Lake Burton Civic Association’s annual Golf Tournament

What a gorgeous day to come together at Lake Burton! We kicked off the Lake Burton Civic Association’s annual Golf Tournament yesterday morning at 8:30AM , supplying Truvista swag to more than 120 golfers. 2nd Annual Burg Bash

It's rumored that when Truvista is around, you won't leave empty-handed. We enjoyed connecting with the Leesburg, GA, community at the 2nd Annual Burg Bash! We spoke with a number of excited community members and gave away some amazing prizes. 6th Annual Banquet of the Chamber of Commerce

It was a pleasure to attend the 6th annual banquet of the Chamber of Commerce in Fairfield County. Celebrating with the communities we serve is always a positive experience. We were privileged to present MUSC Winnsboro with the Business of the Year award. Additionally, Governor McMaster delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing Fairfield's growth and connection and all small South Carolina towns. Family Affair at the Great Race & Rock

It was a Family Affair on Saturday's Great Race & Rock the Block event in Tifton, Georgia! 😄 From the retro rides to the fantastic performances, the Tift community showed us a great time. Rhythm and Ribs Festival Car Show

Let’s #flashback to all the FUN we had at the Tifton Rhythm & Ribs Festival last weekend! We met some amazing individuals and made some great connections, even got a chance to see some beautiful rides. Chester County Chamber of Commerce 65th Banquet

We had a fantastic time at the Chester County Chamber of Commerce 65th Annual Banquet, where the theme was “Off to the Races!” We had the opportunity to watch as they awarded some of the great businesses and individuals that make Chester County a better place. It was an honor to have sponsored the Mix & Mingle portion of this event and be apart of making Chester a better place through connectivity!

125th Anniversary event

Buttermilk’s BBQ was the caterer, Hunter’s Florist did flowers, and Earl Moore was there with the radio. The Chester County Historical Society let Truvista borrow the first ever phone booth in Chester County. The event was held at the Chester War Memorial Building and students from Fairfield County School District as well as students from the Chester County Career Center were in attendance. Commerce Grand Opening

The Grand Opening for our new location in Commerce, Georgia, took place on February 25th. The big event offered giveaways, food trucks, and a prize wheel. We had so much fun celebrating with our new neighbors, and we are excited to share our newest store with you!

We’re so lucky to have customers like you here at Truvista! 💚 To celebrate our Customer Appreciation Day on August 27th, we offered exclusive promotions and held several giveaways at our Camden store 1637 Springdale Drive.

Press Conference at the Capitol with JEMC

In Atlanta, GA, on February 3rd, 2022, Truvista and Jackson Electric Membership Corp. announced an agreement to deliver fiber broadband to 8,000 homes and businesses in three counties in Jackson EMC’s service area: Jackson, Banks, and Madison. The collaboration means Truvista will install hundreds of miles of fiber-optic cable in Jackson EMC’s service area.

Kershaw County Tinsel Trail 2021

In December 2021, Truvista participated as a sponsor for the first annual Kershaw County Tinsel Trail. This event took place nightly at Wateree Veterans Park in Camden, SC and featured 50 beautifully decorated live Christmas Trees.

USDA ReConnect Program Grant

On February 25th, 2020 Truvista announced the acceptance of the USDA’s ReConnect Program Grant. Truvista has been given a $9.1 million ReConnect grant to deploy 257 miles of fiber-optic cable in unserved areas of Kershaw County.

JA Bowl-A-Thon 2020

Saturday, February 8th, 2020 we had the opportunity to participate in the Junior Achievement bowl-a-thon🎳 at Strikers in Rock Hill. Our team was able to help out a great cause and have a ton of fun in the process. A special thanks also goes out to Lillie J's Southern Made for our amazing team tees👕!

Toccoa Business After Hours

JA Business and Student Engagement Event

Truvista participated as a corporate sponsor for the Junior Achievement Business and Student Engagement Luncheon on November 5th, 2019. The event was held at Winthrop University. Ted Halley and AJ Welborn from our Marketing Department was present and met with students in a roundtable discussion about soft skills, use of social media and career goals.

Our Kiwanis Club was invited to participate in the Elgin Toy Round up and Caring Hands Project. We are proud to announce that our club members donated over $1,000 for needy children and elderly citizens in the Elgin community!

The Chester County Natural Gas Authority held their 2019 Industry Appreciation Golf Tournament Friday, September 20th where our very own Wesley Jennings and his team participated in the event. Thanks to Chester County Natural Gas for hosting and The Chester Golf Club for the beautiful location.

Our employees were proud to volunteer for Junior Achievement and teach 3rd graders at Chester Park School of the Arts about personal finance, entrepreneurship and workforce readiness. We are happy to be a part of the nation's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to achieve economic success.

JA Bowl-A-Thon

Truvista participated in the 20th Annual Bowl-a-thon where we were able to teach 1,000 students about personal finance, entrepreneurship, and workforce readiness. The event raised over $25,700 for students in the community.

The Amazing Shake Competition is a professional obstacle course that tests students’ ability to maintain their professional poise in potential business situations.

STEM Foundation's Teen CEO Day

Teen CEO Day is a one-day event that will introduce 5,000 8th grade students in York, Lancaster and Chester Counties to exciting career opportunities in “STEM” fields (science, technology, engineering and math) that are available right here in this area. It will allow area companies and agencies an opportunity to provide information on their company or agencies to students as well as teachers.
