Truvista Fiber Celebrates National Coffee Day by Hosting “Coffee & Connections” Across South Carolina and Georgia

Truvista Fiber is inviting customers to start their morning with a little coffee and a chance to connect with their local Truvista team during Coffee & Connections on September 29, National Coffee Day. As part of the company’s commitment to the communities it serves, Truvista will partner with local coffee shops and businesses across its South Carolina and Georgia footprint to treat the first 50 customers at each participating location to a complimentary coffee.

125th Anniversary event

Buttermilk’s BBQ was the caterer, Hunter’s Florist did flowers, and Earl Moore was there with the radio. The Chester County Historical Society let Truvista borrow the first ever phone booth in Chester County. Press Conference at the Capitol with JEMC

In Atlanta, GA, on February 3rd, 2022, Truvista and Jackson Electric Membership Corp. announced an agreement to deliver fiber broadband to 8,000 homes and businesses in three counties in Jackson EMC’s service area: Jackson, Banks, and Madison. The collaboration means Truvista will install hundreds of miles of fiber-optic cable in Jackson EMC’s service area.

Kershaw County Tinsel Trail 2021

In December 2021, Truvista participated as a sponsor for the first annual Kershaw County Tinsel Trail. This event took place nightly at Wateree Veterans Park in Camden, SC and featured 50 beautifully decorated live Christmas Trees.

USDA ReConnect Program Grant

On February 25th, 2020 Truvista announced the acceptance of the USDA’s ReConnect Program Grant. Truvista has been given a $9.1 million ReConnect grant to deploy 257 miles of fiber-optic cable in unserved areas of Kershaw County.

JA Bowl-A-Thon 2020

Saturday, February 8th, 2020 we had the opportunity to participate in the Junior Achievement bowl-a-thon🎳 at Strikers in Rock Hill. Our employees were proud to volunteer for Junior Achievement and teach 3rd graders at Chester Park School of the Arts about personal finance, entrepreneurship and workforce readiness. We are happy to be a part of the nation's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to achieve economic success.

Truvista participated in the 20th Annual Bowl-a-thon where we were able to teach 1,000 students about personal finance, entrepreneurship, and workforce readiness. The event raised over $25,700 for students in the community.

STEM Foundation's Teen CEO Day

Teen CEO Day is a one-day event that will introduce 5,000 8th grade students in York, Lancaster and Chester Counties to exciting career opportunities in “STEM” fields (science, technology, engineering and math) that are available right here in this area. It will allow area companies and agencies an opportunity to provide information on their company or agencies to students as well as teachers.
