TruVista Fiber Expansion Reaches Three Million Dollar One Year Milestone
TruVista’s year one $3 Million Fiber Optic expansion investment is now providing scores of High Definition Video Channels, New Voice Services for home and business, Super High Speed Broadband Internet access (up to 2 Gbps) and a wide array of New Carrier Class Business services to Franklin, Rabun and Stephens counties. TruVista President and CEO, Brian Singleton said: “We’re excited to reach this milestone in constructing a high capacity fiber optic network to meet the needs of industrial development in Northeast Georgia. The network benefits large and small businesses as well as our residential customers.” The fiber optic expansion project will continue into the fall of 2013.
Business services introduced include fiber ring based Metro Ethernet services and new network hosted business phones that provide the same voice features available to Fortune 500 businesses without the need for an onsite phone system.
